Barbara Ritter, interim dean of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration, joined the CCU faculty in 2004. Her scholarly specialties are in organizational leadership, justice and business ethics. She is the program chair and upcoming president of the Management Education and Development Division of the Academy of Management and is on the board of the Academy’s Teaching Theme Committee. Barbara is on the editorial board of the Organization Management Journal and serves regularly as an advisor for the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. She was named the 2010 Outstanding Chapter Adviser for the business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma and was the adviser for CCU’s chapter for many years. During her time as chapter adviser, BGS received the Outstanding Chapter Silver Award. Barbara volunteers locally for the Salvation Army and has often incorporated service learning experiences into her classes. Her MBA class in the spring of 2013 raised over $50,000 for local not-for-profit organizations. Prior to becoming interim dean, Ritter served as the department chair for Management and Decision Sciences in the Wall College. Ritter earned a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Akron.
